Description
Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) is the leading prehospital advanced medical assessment and treatment program that offers a “think outside the box” diagnosis methodology and is endorsed by the National Association of EMS Physicians.
The following AMLS courses are offered to address the needs of providers and instructors:
Provider Course: 16 hour course for EMTs, Paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, and physicians. This course is offered at Advanced or Combined levels.
Refresher Course: 8 hour course for individuals who have successfully completed the respective AMLS provider course within the past four years. This course is offered at Advanced or Combined levels. Current AMLS provider certificate or wallet card required.
Instructor Course: 4 hour course designed for experienced EMS instructors who have successfully completed the AMLS provider course.
Instructor Update: 4 hour course for current AMLS instructors, coordinators or, affiliates to be updated on all aspects of new edition text materials. Military instructor update course is available. This course is required with each new edition to maintain current instructor status.
